yesterday at 2pm elizabeth underwent emergency surgery for ROP
the surgery could not have gone better
so now we just wait to see if this worked
and her eyes will hopefully continue to develop normally

they put her back on the conventional vent for the surgery
and so far she hasn’t needed to go back to the hifi
which impresses me to no end
as her hifi settings prior to the surgery
were probably the highest we’ve seen them

the other recent development
is
the clot
which has apparently gotten larger
there is a small window of about two weeks
before they cant do anything
so odds are they are going to do the TPA
which is similar to medically induced hemophelia
in the next 48 hours

also
the running theory as to why she crashes every three days is
that she has TRALI
which we’re told is extremely rare in little babies
so that one obviously fits…

all this in three days.
