miraculously…
elizabeth is no longer a surgical patient
i’m not sure how this has happened
but they’ve ruled out NEC
and the bowel obstruction
and a few other things
her specialists and surgeons have all signed off
again
im not show how this happened
or why
but
i’m gonna find out
the second i talk to someone whos not a resident
perhaps it just seems miraculous
cuz this week i decided to test a theory…
i wasnt going to ask any questions
they said “we’re waiting and observing”
so thats what i felt was the best course of action
no questions until there are answers
i will suspend my disbelief
until its all over and done with
and shes back at seaton
(which could be as early as saturday)
my spidersense tells me that the main event will be friday
as usual
so im bracing for the worst but expecting the best
as usual
amelia, is on the canula still
i got to hold her last night which was nice
shes likes me
i can tell cuz she doesn’t stop breathing when i hold her
and she doesnt hyperventilate
like she does when alyssa holds her
i know im being delusional again
but after all this
i think being a little crazy and wanting them to love me a bunch
is only fair
even if they dont have personalities yet
or can talk even
i should mention that its entirely weird
that underlying theme of this week as been based on waiting for our daughters to poop
poop is apparently a substance worth its weight in gold
when dealing with bowel obstructions
and possible NEC infections
who knew…
