shut up already
i hear you all
i need to update
yeah yeah
we’re exhausted.
being at the hospital from 11.30 to 4am
tends to wipe you out.
especially when your daughters like to misbehave
between those hours
so stop complaining already:
heres a brief update
we got to give amelia a bath the other day
which was awesome
in the video [which ill be posting soon]
her legs were kicking all over the place
she looked like a little nervous pink frog
lots of fun
well it looked like fun
i got to be camera man
the wife got to do all the work
also
seeing as how im on restricted holding detail
alyssa and i reached an agreement
that id take every fourth turn
as we can only hold amelia once a day as tolerated
shes getting 28cc’s of fortified milk every 3 hours
so at least we know that part of her works
apparently she craps like a baby elephant
i havent gotten to see this first hand
yet
elizabeths preliminary echo results are back
the blood clot she has is dwindling slowly
shes still really swollen and really red
and the infection she has doesnt want to go away
so they switched her antibiotics yesterday
i think
on a positive note
we discovered last night
while having her hold onto one of our fingers
that she has a grip like a little tiny vice
so shes obviously strong
and considering everything shes been through
shes he toughest kid i know
so far
they’ve both put on a ton of weight
and have grown a few inches [2]
still its a really stressful ride
but we’re all hanging in there
there.
